TableSnap ("TableSnap", "we", "us") is operated by Dexic. This policy explains what information we collect through the TableSnap mobile app and web dashboard (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who this applies to
TableSnap has two kinds of users: business owners, who create an account to collect testimonials, and customers, who submit a testimonial via a QR code or link shared by a business — customers do not create an account.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and password (business owners only), and the business name provided at signup.
- Business profile data: business name, logo image, brand color, and any reward text/code you configure.
- Customer testimonial submissions: when a customer responds to a business's questions, we collect their answers (text or video recording), and, if provided, their name, email, and phone number.
- Technical data: standard request metadata (such as IP address) generated when the Service is used, for security and abuse prevention.
We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect device advertising identifiers.
How we use this information
- To operate the Service: authenticate business owners, store and display testimonials, and generate the QR code/link a business shares with customers.
- To let a business owner review, approve, hide, and export testimonials submitted to their own business.
- To communicate with you about your account (e.g. email confirmation) or respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where data is stored
Account data, business data, and testimonial submissions (including video files) are stored using Supabase, our database and file-storage provider. Video testimonials submitted to a business are publicly readable by design, since a business may choose to publish and showcase them.
Your choices
- Business owners can update or delete their business profile information at any time from the app or dashboard Settings screen.
- Business owners can permanently delete their account and all associated business data (questions, testimonial responses, and uploaded files) from Settings — this action is immediate and cannot be undone.
- A customer who wants a testimonial they submitted removed can contact the business directly, or contact us at the email below and we will forward the request.
Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as the account is active. If an account is deleted, its business data, testimonial responses, and uploaded files are permanently removed from our systems as part of that deletion.
Children's privacy
TableSnap is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
